Built by people who've been in the arena.
CampaignAI was founded by a multi-partisan team who recognize that building better AI is more important than any one partisan victory.

Built by all sides. Trusted by all sides.
AI in politics is too important to be built by one party. Our founding team brings Republican, Democrat, and Independent perspectives to every product decision, so no campaign has to wonder whose side we are on.
Principles we can all agree on
When your team disagrees on politics but agrees on principles, the product earns trust from everyone.
No single party controls the product
Every decision is shaped by people with different political perspectives.
Transparency by design
AI disclosure on every video. No hidden agendas. No partisan favoritism.
Accountability across the aisle
Our founders hold each other to a higher standard because they don't always agree.
Your trust is the product
If campaigns on both sides trust us, we're doing something right.
The Founding Team

Tom Krumins
CEOSC Forward Party Advisory Board.
Campaign Operative. Movement-Builder. Stand-up Comedian.
Tom is a social impact entrepreneur, movement-builder, and founding advisory board member of the South Carolina Forward Party. He has spent his career building and scaling nonprofits, darkhorse candidate campaigns, and advocacy movements. He serves as CEO, leading the company’s strategy and vision with a product that truly grows alongside our customers. Tom spends his days asking the hard questions so you don’t have to. He builds in public and in community, showing that there are better ways to harness these technologies.

Jermaine Johnson
SC State Representative. Gubernatorial Candidate.
Deacon. Educator. A true grassroots leader.
Jermaine grew up surrounded by poverty, gun violence, and homelessness. But soon, he used basketball to earn a scholarship to the College of Charleston and play professionally overseas. He returned to South Carolina to earn a doctorate in organizational leadership, found a nonprofit for his local community, and defeat a 22-year incumbent to serve his local district. Jermaine is now running for governor. He knows what it’s like to run a campaign without the resources your opponents take for granted. He brings to CampaignAI the voice of someone who has found his way to victory time and again.

Brandon Guffey
SC State Representative
Child safety advocate. Business owner. Father on a mission.
Brandon built a career as an entrepreneur and small business owner before entering politics. After a personal loss, Brandon channeled his energy into legislative action, passing Gavin’s Law in his first session as a freshman legislator. He has since testified before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and become a nationally recognized voice on children’s online safety. Brandon is a true thought leader who recognizes the power of technology, both good and bad. He brings a clear vision for how technology can be built effectively and with some care.
Strategic Advisors

Andrew Yang
Former U.S. Presidential Candidate · Tech Entrepreneur · AI Thought Leader
Launched a presidential campaign in 2017 to raise awareness about the coming AI wave.
Three local leaders. One shared mission.
CampaignAI wasn't born in Silicon Valley. It started with a simple question in South Carolina: why do the candidates closest to their communities have the fewest tools to reach them?
Raising the alarm on AI.
Jermaine Johnson and Tom Krumins served as grassroots and political leads for Andrew Yang’s 2020 presidential campaign, one of the first national efforts to raise public awareness about the coming AI wave and its impact on jobs, the economy, and democracy. That experience shaped their understanding of what AI could do and what guardrails it would need.
Holding Big Tech accountable.
Brandon Guffey has led national efforts to hold Big Tech platforms accountable for child safety, passing landmark legislation as a freshman legislator and testifying before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. Tom Krumins worked in the same space, scaling national and global movements, and coordinating advocates to address online sexual exploitation and abuse of children. Their shared conviction that technology must protect people, not exploit them, is foundational to how CampaignAI is built.
Crossing the aisle before it was the mission.
Before CampaignAI existed, Jermaine Johnson and Brandon Guffey were already proving that bipartisanship works. As colleagues in the South Carolina State House, a Democrat and a Republican found common ground on legislation that mattered to their communities. That working relationship became the foundation for a company built on the belief that the best ideas come from people willing to disagree and still build together.
A research effort revealed a national crisis.
Tom launched a research effort to understand how local and underfunded campaigns were experiencing the hyperpolarized, modern digital era. The findings were shockingly common. Candidates across the country faced the same impossible choice: overspend on professional production, or go without it entirely. The need wasn’t unique to South Carolina. It was everywhere.
CampaignAI is founded.
A Republican state legislator, a Democratic gubernatorial candidate, and an Independent campaign operative came together not despite their differences, but because of them. If they could agree that every campaign deserves professional tools, the product would earn trust from everyone.
Democracy shouldn't have a paywall.
You have the story. You have the passion. You shouldn't need a $10,000 agency budget to share it with voters.
CampaignAI gives you professional video, built-in compliance, and 48-hour delivery so you can focus on what matters: your community, your message, your race.
